The Cumberland Building Society has introduced that Stuart Miller will tackle the position as chief government, topic to regulatory approval.
Miller joins from Newcastle Building Society and brings over 38 years of expertise in monetary companies.
He will succeed Des Moore in 2026, following eight years of management and transformation on the society.
Miller, who most lately served as chief business officer, says he’ll carry a ‘folks first’ ethos into the brand new period.
Commenting on his new position, Miller says: “The excessive avenue issues, as a result of it’s the place communities join. When a department closes in a rural space it’s not only a monetary service that disappears, it’s a part of the social cloth.”
