The Cumberland Building Society has introduced that Stuart Miller will tackle the position as chief govt, topic to regulatory approval.
Miller joins from Newcastle Building Society and brings over 38 years of expertise in monetary companies.
He will succeed Des Moore in 2026, following eight years of management and transformation on the society.
Miller, who most not too long ago served as chief business officer, says he’ll carry a ‘individuals first’ ethos into the brand new period.
Commenting on his new position, Miller says: “The excessive road issues, as a result of it’s the place communities join. When a department closes in a rural space it’s not only a monetary service that disappears, it’s a part of the social material.”
