Furness Building Society has appointed Phil Lawford to its broker-facing mortgage group as enterprise growth supervisor.
Lawford rejoins Furness following a five-year hiatus throughout which he frolicked in related roles at Saffron Building Society and Tipton & Coseley Building Society.
He had been at Furness Building Society for nearly six years prior to that, working with brokers as a part of the intermediaries group.
Rejoining the society, he will probably be working alongside Emma Saint and Helen Thistlethwaite to assist brokers throughout the Midlands and South safe mortgages for homebuyers.
Commenting on his appointment, Lawford says: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Furness and be reconnecting with brokers throughout the Midlands and South of England.
