The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed Will Self as chair of its Smaller Business Practitioner Panel. He will take up his function from 1 September.
Self will lead the impartial panel in offering recommendation and representing the pursuits of smaller regulated corporations.
Welcoming the appointment, FCA chair Ashley Alder commented: ‘The Smaller Business Practitioner Panel performs a significant function in guaranteeing that the views of smaller corporations are taken into consideration in our work.

Self has been a member of the Smaller Business Practitioner Panel since 2020, and deputy chair since 2022, representing the pensions and retirement financial savings sector.
